Father vs. Son Basketball Game. The Fathers vs. the son’s basket ball game will be March 30th at Carolina Pines Community Center. The address is 2305 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh NC 27603. Men are asked to wear all black and the youth are asked to wear a white t-shirt and black shorts. Men, if you have any questions, please see Coach Gil Rivers. On February 23rd, the following meetings are with Pastor Robinson: Men’s Meeting at 7:00 am; Leadership Meeting from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm.
Black History Month. We will celebrate Black History Month on Sunday February 24th. In support of Black History on that day, please wear your African Attire or Heritage Attire on that day. Also, please visit the Fellowship Hall during the month of February to learn more about our Black History.
Future Leaders’ Training is Wednesday February 13th @ 8:00 pm. This training is one a month for the entire year and is open to one and all who want to learn more about becoming a leader in both the church and society. The Facilitator is Pastor Jeffrey B. Robinson.
Operation Keep Warm. Please assist the Missionary Ministry with its first outreach project for the year. They are requesting that blankets are donated for the benefit of Women’s Shelter sponsored by JLMBC. The campaign will run from February 17th through March 17th. There will be containers in both the Vestibule and Fellowship Hall to receive the blankets.
The North Carolina Coalition against Sexual Assault will have a Teenager Summit Awareness for teens 13 to 18. The topic will be Teen Dating & Violence Awareness. The Facilitator will be Tracy Wright of the Youth Advocate Institute. The date and time are February 23, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and will be held at Juniper Level Missionary Baptist Church.
Calling all JLMBC Youth and Adult Ushers to attend the GBSC one day usher’s session on Saturday February 23, 2019@ 9:00 am. This one-day session will take place at the K. E. White Graduate Center on the campus of Elizabeth City State University. Registration cost for adults is $10.00 and youth $5.00. Please sign up in the Vestibule. Transportation will be provided.
YD4C trip to Wet n' Wild Aug. 10th, 2019. Cost per person is $29.00 any child under 48" is $23.00. Meal vouchers can be purchased for $10.99 per person. To sign up and make payment arrangements starting Sunday Feb 3rd, 2019, please see Tammie Jackson. Final payments will be due Sunday July 21st.
NCDOT HBCU Summer Internship Opportunity. HBCU students are you seeking an exciting opportunity that provides hands-on, real world experience while learning about the field of transportation: The NCDOT HBCU is now taking applications January 4th through February 22, 2019. Corporate Prayer every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
Food Pantry every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the Month at 9:30 am. Produce Truck every 3rd Monday of the Month at 9:30 am and everyone can participate.
