SPOTLIGHT ON JLMBC – Week of January 13, 2019   The next session of Crown will begin January 28th. The course is a 10-week course and meets every Monday night at 7:00 pm. If you wish to take this course, please contact the Church Office.  The YD4C kickoff will be on Saturday, January 26th at Jelly Beans Super Skate Center, 1120 Buck Jones Road, Raleigh, NC. The time is from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The cost is $10 per youth. Parent are free, however if you wish to skate, you must pay the $10 admission price. In order to have an accurate headcount, monies must be paid by Wednesday, January 23rd. Transportation will be provided. The address for Jelly Beans is. There will be a tour to Elizabeth State University for youth in grades 9th thru 12th on February 9, 2019. The cost is $20 which includes lunch, the tour and a basketball game. Transportation will be provided, and it is preferred all youth going ride the bus. The bus will depart from Juniper Level at 4:45 am and return at approximately 11:00 pm. A Celebration Honoring the Life and Legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be at the Garner Performing Arts Center at 742 West Garner Road. The Keynote speaker will be Rev. Jimmie Hawkins.  Habitat and Baptist Build Project 2019 - Juniper will join with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County and other Baptist Churches to build two homes on Skycrest Drive in Raleigh. Our kick-off date is  Monday, January 21 ,  2019  at 8:15 AM. We need volunteers for that date and other dates during this 2019 Baptist Build project. A signup sheet is in the Vestibule, please sign up Today. No experience needed.  Youth Ages 16 and older are requested to assist with the Habitat for Humanity of Wake County kickoff on MLK Day, January 21st, 2019. All youth that are interested are asked to please contact Marshika Vickers. If you do not have her number, please contact the office.  The Covenant Keepers will be attending the Madea’s Farwell Play Tour on Thursday May 2, 2019 at the Durham Performing Arts Center. The group rate is $88.50 per person. If you are going to attend the play, please contact Deacon and Deaconess Sanders. Seats are selling fast. Monies are needed by January 20th to attend the play. All  “First Time Visitor” please join First Impressions in the Conference Room for a personal welcome.   Corporate Prayer every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm.
